As part of the français intensif program I took in high school we watched the musical Notre-Dame de Paris. Despite being a bit of a downer of a novel, the music in these performances are quite catchy. Below are my favorite songs:

Beau comme le soleil (we used to die laughing at the end of this song when it shows Phoebus on the screen)

Notre-Dame de Paris the novel was written by the French author Victor Hugo. When in Paris, you can catch a glimpse of this iconic writer's house near Place des Vosages.
