Number 6 (Top 7 Places in Paris)

Arc de Triomphe

One of the best known monuments in Paris, the Arc de Triomphe is located right smack in the middle of the Place Charles de Galle roundabout at the end of the Champs-Élysées.
As the Arc is located in the middle of a large and high-traffic roundabout, it is not recommended that you run across the roundabout!  Instead, pedestrians can take an underpass to the Arc from either the Champs Élysées or the Avenue de la Grande Armée.

Less well known about the Arc de Triomphe is the fact that you can climb to the top and have a beautiful panoramic view of the city of Paris.

Below the Arc is the tomb of the unknown soldier as well as an eternal flame.

A must-see in Paris for sure!
