Tour De Gall & Oh Happy Day!
I just read one of the most amusing reviews from a food critic. Actually, it was probably the first restaurant critique I have ever read, but it was nonetheless amusing. The article was Tour De Gall by A. A. Gill published in the April 2011 issue of Vanity Fair (I'm obviously a little behind in my reading!) on the restaurant L'Ami Louis in Paris. I guess the restaurant is considered to be "Paris' worse kept secret". However, after reading the review, I think this secret should be kept in hiding -- it sounds a bit like a dive to me. Needless to say, I don't think I will be frequenting this restaurant on my next trip to Paris if it is really what he makes it out to be. Foie BLAH. $403. [E]ntre nous, the worst restaurant in the world. Oh that made me laugh!
I was on a mission this morning to find some new blogs to follow -- something, preferrably, with a Paris theme. Well, I think I've met my match with Oh Happy Day!, mainly because she is giving away a trip to Paris! Enter here. But remember, now that I've told you about it, you have to bring me if you win ;) The blog isn't necessairly all about Paris, but the blogger herself just moved to Paris for the year and I have a feeling we will be hearing lots about the beautiful city she is in!
Come back tomorrow for my very first giveaway!
